Common to the ICT industry is the idea that systems integrators provide solutions that are a best fit for them, not the customer.  Regardless of the needs of a specific project they will mould requirements to what they have, not what is needed.

Typically, customers have an intimate understanding of their business problem and its solution. Their needs extend to the management and implementation of the solution. In other cases, the customer recognises there is a problem but require external expertise to see the solution from inspiration through to implementation.

ASE believes business problems can only be resolved in two ways.

  • First, develop a customer relationship aimed at achievement, not antagonism.
  • Second, bring to the relationship engineering skills and experience to see the project through to completion.
